How often do you slow down to think about the foods on your plate and what you put into your mouth? With our busy lifestyles, we often don’t take the opportunity to slow down and fully appreciate our food. Mindful Eating was originally a Buddhist practice and is now widely taught in the western world. Whether or not you’ve ever meditated, Peaceful Eating is easy to learn. It works for people of any (or no) religious background and can be practised by children, adults and seniors. It is a truly simple, yet profound way of waking up to the miracles of life.
