Once every four years we are given the gift of an extra day on February 29, and it is commonly referred to as leap day of the leap year. Do you see this leap day as a gift?
When most of us receive material gifts such as flowers, a box of chocolates, or some other personal items, we treasure them and are overjoyed. Although these gifts can bring us temporary joy, isn’t the gift of time one of the greatest gifts of all?
How many children would rather have an entire day to spend with their mom and dad instead of another toy? How many teenagers would rather have an entire day to spend hanging out with their friends instead of another gadget? How many adults would rather have an entire day with their parents who have passed on and are no longer there instead of their material possessions? Who would you like to spend time with today?

With love and gratitude,
