Well, now that I’ve got your attention, you’re probably wondering why I would ask such a question. Do you know that in the time it takes you to change your underwear, you can just as well make a decision to change other things in your life as well?
When we think of drinking enough water, exercising, watching what we eat, getting enough sleep, and all the other things we need to be healthy and happy, it can often seem overwhelming. Rather that throw our hands up in despair, we can make a conscious choice to take baby steps and make little changes every day to improve our lives. Once this becomes a habit, those tiny steps add up to big leaps and bounds in improving our well-being.
Since the beginning of the month, I’ve had an incredible amount of fun with the Facebook group I created “30 Days to Reduce Clutter and Regain Peace”. Every day I’ve been posting one step to take in decluttering and I’m humbled by the feedback I’m getting. One of the group members stated that after he removed 6 large garbage bags of clothes from his home that his wife “loves him again”. It’s wonderful to see the group comradery and support that everyone gives each other as we go on this journey together.
