In practice as a vegan distant healer, I see many clients who, like so many of us, are searching for that “magic bullet” to heal their physical ailments. Sadly, we tend to wait until it’s too late before we start this search and then come to the realization that there is no such thing as a magic bullet. The expectation to be able to transform your life within a short period of time by purchasing the latest piece of exercise equipment or trying the newest weight loss supplement regime, is an idea that has been planted in our psyche. I prefer to weed those ideas out of my head and plant new seeds of reality.
I asked myself: “So, if there is no magic bullet, how do we achieve true lasting health and happiness?” I sat in silent meditation and many insights came to me. It’s really not difficult to live in a state of vibrant health and happiness. The amazing thing is everything we need to live a truly healthy and happy life is given to us by God, Mother Nature, The Universe, or any other word you feel comfortable with. All we need to do is to look around and make use of the “Free Medicine” that is readily available to all of us.
Granted, we may have been born into different families, different cultures, and different socio-economic groups, yet we all have one thing in common – free choice. Every moment of every day, we have the choice to alter the direction of our lives. We can become entangled in the struggle of our day-to-day challenges, or we can choose to live life with ease and confidence. I choose to be the best that I can be every day of my life by making conscious choices to support and maintain my mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. What do you choose?
As I was nearing my 55th birthday and looking forward to the second half of my life, I decided it was time to fully embrace my power and fully walk my talk.
